Womb & Abdominal Massage for postpartum
This is so wonderful and healing to receive postnatally, helping to bring warmth and nourishment to the body after the work of pregnancy and birth, soothing postnatal discomforts, inducing deep relaxation and aiding postnatal recovery.
Labour of Love offers a range of nurturing postnatal treatments and Scar Tissue work, Closing the Bones and Pelvic Steaming can also be added to the sessions (see below).
Womb & Abdominal Massage for postpartum is for the first year postnatally. If one year or more postpartum please refer to the main womb and abdominal massage page
Individual treatment prices –
Initial treatment and consultation (2 hours) £98
Follow up treatments (90 minutes) £74
Package of three treatments is £225 (saving £21 on individual treatments). This includes initial 2 hour session with consultation & 2 x 90 minute sessions, to be taken over 3 consecutive months (i.e. 10th June, 10th July, 10th August) or less. The initial consultation can be carried out via video call beforehand to allow for a shorter in-person contact time so you’re away from baby for less time or done in one appointment together with the treatment. Payment plan available.
Subsequent package of 3 treatments £205 (saving £17 on individual treatments): 3 x 90 minute sessions, to be taken over 3 consecutive months (i.e. 10th June, 10th July, 10th August) or less. Payment plan available.

Package of three treatments is £245 (saving £25 on individual treatments). This includes initial 2 hour session with consultation & 2 x 1 & 3/4 hour sessions, to be taken over 3 consecutive months (i.e. 10th June, 10th July, 10th August) or less. The initial consultation can be carried out via zoom beforehand to allow for a shorter in-person contact time so you’re away from baby for less time or done in one appointment together with the treatment. Payment plan available.
Follow up package of three treatments £238 (saving £20 on individual treatments): 3 x 1 & 3/4 hour sessions, to be taken over 3 consecutive menstrual cycles (if applicable) or 3 consecutive months (i.e. 10th June, 10th July, 10th August) or less. Payment plan available.
Postnatal Womb & Abdominal Massage with Closing the Bones
Receive the Womb & Abdominal massage along with being rocked, then wrapped in rebozos and warm covers so you can rest deeply as part of your postpartum recovery. Once you have been pregnant you will always be postpartum so this can be taken at any time, not just in the early weeks or months after pregnancy. Approximately 2 hours, £98

Postnatal Womb & Abdominal Massage with Closing the Bones and Pelvic Steam
This is a deeply nourishing session to really nurture and hold space for you. After the consultation I’ll prepare a herbal steam for your pelvis which helps to warm and restore, this is followed by the massage, being rocked with rebozos, then wrapped in rebozos and warm covers so you can rest deeply as part of your postpartum recovery. Once you have been pregnant you will always be postpartum so this can be taken at any time, not just in the early weeks or months after pregnancy. Approximately 2 & 1/4 hours £110
After 1 year postpartum, treatment times and prices are the same as a regular Womb & Abdominal Massage or Womb & Abdominal Massage and Scar Tissue work treatments.
I offer this as a full spectrum postnatal treatment and it can be very healing and comforting after a loss during pregnancy, including termination, or after birth. If you would like to receive this treatment after a loss please send me a message.
Scar Tissue Work
Scar Tissue Work is a gentle treatment using myofascial and massage techniques specifically for scars to reduce pain, improve movement and function, relieve numbness, sensitivity and resolve adhesions. Damage to body tissues can have implications years later and the connection to pain or restrictions elsewhere in the body may not be obviously connected with the scar.
Suitable from around 10 weeks after caesarean births as long as the scar is fully closed with no weeping or signs of infection. There’s no time limit to receiving this treatment and over 10 years later it’s still beneficial to receive.
Scar Tissue Work can be a stand alone treatment or included as part of a Womb & Abdominal Massage treatment (see above)

- 60 minutes – £50
- 75 minutes – £62

First appointments include a consultation and can be 75 or 90 minutes
Subsequent appointments can be 60, 75 or 90 minutes

- Wednesdays 4 to 7pm (11 to 7 sometimes available)
- Fridays 11am to 6pm
- Sundays 10am to 2pm (occasional)

Mobile treatments may be available for late pregnancy or early postpartum, please ask (mobile treatments are only available at the individual treatment price – not the package price – and there will be an extra charge for travel expenses etc).
