This is a nurturing and supportive group which is beneficial to mothers and their young babies from approximately six weeks up to crawling age. These classes encourage meaningful interaction and bonding with your baby and are a great way to meet other new parents.
Each class includes:
Simple massage strokes to help soothe and comfort your baby and support their growing body.
Gentle yoga based postnatal exercises
To restore strength and tone to your body and help relieve aches and tension. The poses can be done either with your baby or with baby close to you.
Relaxation and breathing
For well being and to aid postnatal recovery
Breastfeeding / feeding support
There is also time to chat about common issues that might come up such as sleeping; weaning; postnatal depression; transition into motherhood; family dynamics and where the day goes!
This is a relaxed and informal class and it’s normal if your baby needs to feed or sleep during the yoga / baby massage. Take time out with your baby when you need to and join back in when you‘re ready. Please bring a cushion or pillow, a blanket and a yoga mat (let me know if you need to borrow one) and wear loose comfortable clothes. It is also preferable to have short nails for the baby massage.
As an age guide, these sessions are suitable for babies aged 6 weeks (8 weeks for caesarean born babies) to crawling. Please ask if you’re not sure.

Cost: £35 for a 5 week set. It’s possible to start part way through the block if baby is too young at the start (as long as there’s space!). In this case the amount is reduced and you only pay from when you start. Drop in when available is £9 a class.
Please note if you miss a class you can attend another class within the same block period at the other location if there’s space. Unfortunately missed classes can’t be carried over to a different half term.

“Today was our last Baby Yoga session with Rosa. We have loved every session that we have had. I have learnt how to use baby massage to help calm my baby as well as help her to develop physically. Every session has given me an opportunity to breath and stretch and give myself some me time! I have also met some lovely mums along the way. Before baby yoga I also attended the pregnancy yoga sessions which I also thoroughly enjoyed. I also attended the pain coping work shop before giving birth.
